Alan Yau, creator of Hakkasan, has blended both classic style and contemporary colours to create this impressive cafe. Specialising in authentic Chinese cuisine, the restaurant offers a dim-sum speciality in the afternoons. Further highlights from the menu are Roasted Silver Cod with Champagne and Chinese honey and Roasted Mango Duck with lemon sauce. However, rumour has it that the waiters are a bit snooty.
Have to start off by saying I live in NYC and have eaten in some of the finest restaurants in the world. I thought this place was absolutely "much ado 'bout nothing". To me, it was so pretentious and cold and I thought the food was good, but certainly not outstanding. The hostess was downright rude, and I thought the waiters were indifferent. We really could not wait to get out of there. Yeah, it was filled with hip, beautiful londoners, so if that is what you're looking for...this place is for you. They have a sister restaurant in in SOHO (can't remember name) that was a much nicer place, much less obnoxious, and the food was great. They also make some of the best chocolates I've ever had.
Firstly I loved the food. I went there last month. We managed to get a table same day in 1hour notice as my friend is quite well known there. I have been to many top restaurants in London but Hakkasan without a doubth serves the best food i have ever tasted in my entire life.I have tried almost everything in the menu and there is not even 1 dish i would say was avarage. The only thing that i didn't like was the noise. The place is too big, very high ceilings and over crowded so therefore its very noisy. If u expect a quite dinner...hakkasan is not a best place for that. But if you want a eat PROPER,EXCELLENT AND MOUTH LICKING FOOD...You will remember this place for a looong time and will keep going back there for more because surely you will never ever taste food as good as Hakkasan anywhereelse in this planet.
Highly recommend the restaurant. If you are looking for cool atmosphere and good drinks
head to this restaurant. The restaurant is
on a side street near an alleyway. Very private- hard to find unless you take a taxi or know exactly how to get to the resturant.
The food was amazing - nice to share the dishes and try a little of everything on the menu.
This prestigious establishment commands magnificent views of the river Thames and people frequent the place in droves, especially for business
lunches and romantic dinners. Modern art hangs by the bar, where a live singer or pianist entertains during the ...
If you like American burgers or rock memorabilia this will be on your tourist route, so don't resist. And anyway,
this is the world's first Hard Rock, so there's some value in that. Be warned though, this venue is ...
This is an interesting hybrid of boozer and leafy Thai diner. Amongst the benefits of this unusual alliance is the
combination of pub priced drinks with restaurant standard food. It's always popular often very crowded in the pub and ...
