Howl At The Moon
After creating waves in Cincinatti, Howl At The Moon has been doing the same in Orlando. A regular haunt for locals since its inception, it's the tunes played on the two centerstage pianos that keep guests highly entertained. A 'Showtime' special is announced every hour, in which employees and guests alike dance to the tunes of popular television shows and commercial jingles. Take your pick from the very innovative drinks menu; while the Sour Apple Martini will make you "pucker up and howl", the Electric Lemonade is "the most ELECTRIFYING cocktail in nightlife entertainment". So come on down and get ready to howl!
We ordered a drink, which was a bucket of some coctail! We were almost half way through it when a door man came over and lifted the bucket out of ourf hand, poured it down the sink! This was without any warning at all! We then got marched out of the door, as in some huge doorman had his hand on my 50 year old dads back and pushed him out of the door! Absoulutly discusting! Never ever go there! We are gonna go back tomorrow and request our money back! xx
We were in town last week on business for a convention and stopped by Howl at the Moon on what we thought would be a dead tuesday night. We we're given free admission with our military ID's and my friend, a disabled Iraq Veteran, was honored on stage which resulted in numerous free drinks throughout the night from the staff and other customers. We had a great time(especially my friend) We'll be back!
I attended last Friday for a friend's Happy Hour party and had a great time! My friends and I were greeted at the door by the coordinators, we received free admission, some drink tickets and half off all of our drinks.
The ladies signed us up to win one of their GIANT buckets of booze and turned us lose! We had an awesome time, the band was great except for their TV Theme Song montage, that was lame! It was pretty cool and I wound up winning a free bucket of booze!
We'll be coming back soon, it was great!
My friends and I were on vacation in Orlando and we stumbled across Howl at the Moon on a Thursday evening and had the best times of our lives! We managed to get a table right up front so we had a great view of the entertainers as well as of the staff when they all got up and danced. We spent most of the night out of our seats dancing and singing at the top of our lungs. These guys were awesome! I really wish they had one up North...I would go every weekend! I love Howl at the Moon!
Cover charge was $10 per person and drinks a little on the expensive side but atmosphere and entertainment made up for it. During my experience (on a Friday night), the place was hopping but not overly busy or too crowded. My friends came early to get two tables (8ish) at the front row. I came around 10ish and no line to get in, quick to get a drink, and found my friends at the front of the stage. The table next to us became available through out the night. Bathrooms were clean, no long line. Waitress was friendly and made sure we were taken care of. Spend money on cover and enjoy the night. It can get as expensive or cheap from there, its up to you! But no matter what you will have a great time
Took our cover charge money ( 1 group $15.00 the other $10.00).No where to stand or sit, we were chased out of everyspot by the bouncers, very expensive 15 minutes.I live in Florida, the occupancy limit was exceded, should have never allowed us to enter.
Nice evening, lots of fun, music and energy was great. BUT.......to the best of my knowledge, it is a bar right? It might be a good idea to put alcohol in the drinks. No kidding, and I’m not exaggerating, these were the most ridonkulously weak drinks in the world. I know there’s a profit margin to make, but it should not be at the cost of the customer’s intelligence. For two people to have a $70.00 drink tab PLUS 3 free drinks, and taste and feel NOTHING is a shame. One of the drinks they call “the bucket of booze” tasted like Hawaiian punch and water…even after ordering an extra shot to put in it!!! Like I said, that was insulting. Order beer or wine (in the bottle so they can’t alter it) and you’ll have a blast!!! But avoid the Bar at this Piano Bar, Its highway rob”bar”y
