A bar, a lounge, a main dining area, private dining rooms - Tangerine pretty much seems to have it all! Choose from an exotic French-cum-Mediterranean menu featuring such gems as Pistachio Crusted Duck Breast, Herbed Pork Tenderloin, Chicken Tagine, and Greek Spiced Swordfish. A delightful selection of cocktails, wines and beer is available to add zest to your meal, and the staff is as professional as can be. If you decide to host a private gathering here, it is guaranteed to be a success.
My friends and I dined at tangerine the other night and had a blast! We ordered a bunch of apps, a round of drinks and a bottle of wine. The server was so helpful and nice, the drinks different and tasty, the wine was great! I was so thakfull the staff knew what they were talkng about and could guide us through the menu. Money well spent, Thank you!
For my husband's thirtieth birthday I wanted to bring him to a extraordinary romantic restaurant. Tangerine proved to be this and much more! I called a week ahead for a reservation and asked for a nice secluded table, which they accomodated us with. The restaurant is beautiful--dark, romantic, and perfect atmosphere for amazing food and drink. The crowd was a mix of older couples, families, and twentysomething set...which added to the already nice vibe. I was expecting pretentiousness but everyone was laid-back and friendly. Our server was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and schooled us on many of the wines and after dinner drinks. We started with crab and feta phyllo (which was flaky, flavorful, and tantalizing!) and diver scallops (which were large, meaty, and delicious). My husband had the lobster special (market price $55), which was prepared three different ways. I had the lobster and scallops afrique, which was ridiculously scrumptious--and carrot fufu was great. Both were served family stlye--which is great for sharing! We shared a bottle of white wine (moderately priced at $50) For dessert they prepared a special lemon meringue and lemon sorbet combination with a candle and awesome presentation. My dh enjoyed an afterdinner ice wine. I was too stuffed for dessert and drink.
We did not order a salad but they were enourmous--enough to feed a table of four! Next time we will order one!
It was definitely worth the money $225 with tip, tax, and wine. I would definitely recommend it to others!
