Cheesecake Factory, St Louis

I absolutely love the Cheesecake Factory. I would eat there every day if I could afford to. The prices are not extremely high, it's just my budget won't allow an everyday trek. The food is delicious, I have tried many dishes and I love them all. My favorite appetizer is Buffalo Blast, my favorite dish is the Teryiaki Chicken and the lettuce in the salads are fresh, they have the best salads ever. My compliments to the chef.

it it wasn't for the dessert we split, the Chocolate Tower Truffle Cake, i would give this restaurant a rating of "awful." My wife tried the beer battered cod, and if you closed your eyes, you could almost imagine that you were sitting in a Long John Silver's, sampling their best greasy piece of fish ever imaginable. The fact that it costs 10 times more than a fried piece of batter from LJS makes it even more disheartening. The Chicken Piccata was bland, flavorless, and downright putrid for a restaurant of this suggested quality. Very disappointing. We won't be returning, even for their cheesecake. I can think of a half dozen other places that serve a better piece of dessert, and "My Daddy's Cheesecake" sits at the top of that list.

I cannot believe that a chain restaurant is considered the #3 restaurant in St. Louis, there are so many better LOCAL places to choose from...Joanie's Pizza in Soulard, Modesto on the Hill (tapas bar), Pueblo Solis or Arcellias for Mexican, etc. etc.
