For Asian Fusion, really Chinese food with the option of getting Pad thai, The food was decent. Not the worst, not the best. However, the service was just plain lousy. The waiter was impatient. Then after we got our entrees we did not see him again. We asked for chopsticks. 15 minutes after we got our entrees he rushes past our table drops off some chopsticks without asking us how we liked our meal or if there was anything else we needed. Once we were finished it took 15 minutes just to get someone s attention so we could pay the bill. A manager came over to ask us how we enjoyed our meal we told them about our rude server. He said he would make a note of it. finally someone who was not our server placed a check in front of us. Then out of nowhere our server reappears and snatches the bill out of my boyfriend s hand no explanation or excuse me. We were hoping he would take something off the bill for his terrible service but instead it was the same bill. Most of the time I leave at least a 20 percent tip. This was the first time in YEARS that I felt no desire to leave a monetary tip. I did however, leave a note on the receipt letting them know exactly why we refused to leave a tip. Considering the food was only half way decent, the next time I want Chinese food I will go to a decent carry out, head home and place it on my own nice dishware. I don t know if Jenny s would still exist if not for it s prime location on the waterfront.
I liked the fact that the menu covered a bunch of different Asian cuisines - there are some Thai dishes, some Chinese. What I didn't like was that the sauce that came with the fried dumplings was little more than soy sauce with scallions, no flavor. The bartender was really doing her thing, but the bar service itself was a little slow. I'd have to agree with another reviewer - sitting in the back might not be the greatest. Nice view of the water though! I'll go back for happy hour again, most certainly.
The food was amazing.
Very friendly atomsphere the manger is constantly making sure everything is alright and everyone is doing okay and enjoying their food.
The live entertainment was also a very nice addition to the already perfect place.
The wife and I went on Valentines Evening.
I had the Jade Scallop Shrimp dish (Excellent) and we both had Plum Wine (Excellent).
There was live entertainment and one of the patrons danced with the manager.
Great, food, wine, entertainment and value.
DON'T SIT IN THE BACK!!!
My friends and I went into Jenny's thinking that it was a nice restaurant. We were seated in the back, and about 10 min after being seated, a DJ set up a music system right next to our table and began to play loud music. We had to ask 5 times to get glasses of water (literally go up to the bar and ask until we got some), we ordered hot tea and were given lukewarm water with tea bags, we were charged for extraneous items on the bill and the manager had no apology to give - he just stood there!! i have never experienced such disrespect in a restaurant before!! Do not go there to have a good meal!
