Zanzibar, Washington

I attended a poetry night at the Zanzibar on the Waterfront a few weeks back. I have to give a shot out to my Bro. Phil John for doing his thang on the M.I.C. As for the rest of the club the atmosphere was cool the service from the bar staff was all love. The crab cakes were off the hook, and the drinks were good. I’ll be going back soon.

Zanzibar has three floors the first has reggea, the second is off the chain with a nice mixture, and the third well i cant make it past the second floor and i finally saw the patio lol it has good food and excellent atmosphere.....

If I could give this restaurant 10 stars I would. For seafood lovers, this is like heaven.

Standing in line for TWO (2) hours for a simple evening dinner and a show that you already paid for is not the way you should spend special events. It would be nice if a manager or attendant could inform the paying customers what's going on. Don't expect to ever see or talk to any manager, seems as if they are way too busy to hear from you (the paying customer). It seems as if too many times staff has no clue what going on. If you ever have problems or a complaint.....FORGET ABOUT IT! Zanzibar needs to step up in class!!!!

I love Fresh Fridays!!TRINIDAD represent!! I love my soca and reggae.The drinks r a bit too expensive but I love the bathroom.Overall I give the club a B

I've always been a huge fan of this niteclub. No matter how many times I attend, I always have a wonderful time. Zanzibar's lay out works because you can party inside, outside(during the warmer months,duhhh) or upstairs. The drinks are made to order and the bartenders at the bar in the back left are AWESOME!!! Once you're known as a regular customer, your drinks come the way you want them without having to repeat your order a thousand times. I am actually anticipating my return to the states so I can party at Zanzibar's again. The only dislike I have is the parking situation but that's to be expected in that area of D.C.

Their food is good.

I love Zanzibar, I've had some good times here and celebrated my birthday here. Had fun with some of the WPGC Crew. If youhave not been here go you'll enjoy.

This place is off the hook. The music is great!!!
