OZIO Restaurant & Lounge, Washington

For my best friends bday we made table reservations at Ozio's including 10 guest and also invited about 20 other friends to come out but they would have to pay we kept in contact with Jeri who was promoting for the club we asked her what we could bring and what was the attire among other questions on numerous occasions within these two weeks we were told by Jeri black boots were acceptable even confirming everything a few hours before we arrived in a Limo and stood in line with table reservations we were then told some of us couldnt get in because the guys had on black boots they are very unprofessional and have poor management a waste of time and they lost money so its their loss I will never go here again and I wouldn't recommend it Jeri walked away from us and stood there smoking a cigarette she lied and deserves to be fired even thou we still enjoyed our night somewhere else!

I recall a random visit to OZIO around three years ago. I certainly am attracted to the cigar bar on the second floor, and their selection of 'gars was pretty ample. Drinks are somewhat expensive but not out of hand. It's a cool place: DJ, club atmosphere, etc.

It's one of the few places where you can still smoke in DC. I love the atmosphere of this place....it's very grown up (no young heads). Word to the Ladies: Don't even think about going unless you look your best!!! I don't remember ever seeing an ugly man in the place! ;)

you might just run into a pro athlete, or a least a dude with a car. and a few gold diggers.

I was there Saturday, July 21st and was surprised to see the number of people who were smoking (even in the general areas). I arrived early and there was bar tender downstairs smoking a cigar (not a good precedent). As the evening progressed, there were many more smoking and walking about freely. I liked the crowd and the music but the smoke ruined my experience.

My husband and i don't get much time to dine out so when we do we like to make sure it is worthwhile and well like by our friends. This definitely had one of the nicest meals in a longtime. But would like to see service improve a bit. Maybe one day we will try them again to see if it has improved.

I went to Ozio's for my birthday with a bunch of girlfriends. The atmosphere was nice and most people were cordial. If you don't like smoke, it's definitely not the place for you. There is no smoking section; the whole club is the smoking section. Happy hour was until 8pm with great Cosmos and Agent O martinis. Bartenders were very good. Chicken Parm was ok, a little overcooked. This place is pricey but nice. It was extremely crowded but I was able to talk to people and mingle a bit. The dance floor was almost non-existent. The worst part was the DJ. He played everything on the night I thought was Reggae and Hip Hop. Sean Paul is not the only reggae artist but you couldn't tell that night! He teased us by playing portions of songs. Maybe he was trying to appeal to the diverse crowd but it began to annoy me after a while. I made the best of it anyway and had a great birthday.

The VIP Room at Ozio's is where its at for me and I think my friends agree!

Ozio's has a ver nice atmosphere and clientel. I love to go there grab a corner and chill. Great place to eat lunch too.

It was ok. The Martinis are for sampling.. So it is better to bring a group with you so you can share the different flavors :)
