Great varity of tapas, and most were offered in pretty susbstantial portions. I felt the staging was a bit too quick and the waiter didn't offer much assistance. Sangria was good, but certainly not amazing. Faves--chocolate hazlenut dessert, almond crab soup, bacon wrapped dates,,

I went with a group of five plus a little baby and we were treated very well. The service staff were fun and laid back. The food was amazing, especially the croquetas de pollo, the ajo blanco & the bunuelos de bacalao. Wow! Yum... We tried quite a bit from the menu and all was just heaven. I can't list them all. If I lived in the area I'd be going there as often as I could! Go Jose!

Best tapas in the DC area. There's a reason this restaurant is so crowded before plays at the Shakespeare and events at Verizon Center.

I left hungry. The food was very good but the portions were very small. Yes it is tapas, but super tiny tapas. The garllic shrimph were very good.

Jos Andrs and his team have designed a great menu: well-executed classics, mingle with fresh and delicious tapas of the more creative variety. Fresh, crisp flavors, and a solid and concise wine list.

Good food but a little pricey. It's the best tapas place in town. If you know what to order you will have a great experience but if not you will miss out on all that Spanish food has to offer. For desert try a little Pedro Jimenez. It's a wonderful Spanish sherry and very tasty.
