Eclipse Bistro, Wilmington

My fiancé took me for my birthday this past weekend. It was one of the best meals I've ever had. The pan seared duck was phenomenal. My fiancé had the lamb chop, and it was excellent. I suggest you make reservations and try the spinach salad with the vanilla vinaigrette! A+

I have been to most of the restaurants in downtown Wilmington, and this is the best in the city and the state. The service is unparalleled. The food is impeccable. The desserts are sumptious. The decor is cozy and elegant. The prices are reasonable for the quality of food. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a true fine dining experience. The food was over the top with flavor and flair! The Chef came out and did a short table visit and he was outstanding, Friendly and knowledgeable about all our questions. I had the red snapper rundown and now I have a new favorite dish! It truly is a taste of the caribbean.

Outstanding food and incredible service, great dining experience... nice quiet corners for a romantic get away and a well stocked bar... Nick is the best restaurant manager, who cares deeply for his patrons. The staff is eager to please and have all the right recommondations for a excellent dining experience... No other restaurant can eclipse - Eclipse!

This restaurant would do well in any number of cities, and it is a true find in Wilmington. The service and the food are fantastic, and the portion sizes are just right. From salads to dessert to the selection of wines and ports, this is fine dining in an atmosphere that is both upscale and comfortable, yet far from stuffy. It has definitely become my favorite local restaurant! I almost hate to write this review, because there is rarely a wait now but once word gets out that will quickly change!

I ate at this resuturaunt for a job interview dinner. It was fantastic. They have a great wine list and excellent selection of beers. Their portions are generous, but not over the top. The food is fantastic. Everyone at the table couldn't say enough about their food. Desert was amazing! Try their homemade gelatto. Yum! Cheese cake and straberry shortcake are also delicious. It is expensive, but well worth the trip!

Eclipse is by far my favorite restaurant in Wilmington. Romantic Ambiance, delicious food and fantastic service. And you MUST have dessert!

The chef and owner have collaborated to make a great menu with some unique items, such as wild boar tacos, and even the starting bread! High quality ingredients and presentation still make this restaurant one of the very best in town. Ambience is very soothing and comfortable. The bistro look is great. The staff is eminently professional and will always make you feel welcome. Say Hi to Jim behind the bar on Friday nights! They also have great eclectic music that always has me asking for the titles. Sometimes I ust go in to treat myself to one of their wonderful desserts and a drink at the bar.

The service was wonderful and very prompt. The food was excellent, possibly some of the best taste combinations. Presentation was top notch as well. Although expensive, it is perfect for a date, or small celebration. Will suggesst it all my friends.
