My favorite restaurant in town. It is pricey but you can also get away with a fancy pizza and a drink for under $20. Service is attentive without trying to sit down with you. The desserts are the best items on the menu. They have another restuarant in the same building, the Speckled Hen, which is cheaper but the food is just as good.

Best restaurant in town.

DELICIOUS bread and olive oil. A really gourmet entree: Fillet mignon with gorgonzola buttler. Magnificent! Wondeful scallops with very, very good caramelized onions and the best buttler all around no only city or county, but Penn State. Same for salmon. Good Duck. Pork with apple chutney? Exquisite. Decent, but no great wine list. That detail could be much better. Nice decoration. Perfect option for a romantic date. I have try pecan tart, creme brulee, and tiramisu, all excellent, but I still miss apple cake dutch style. They do not have it any more. Prices are right, or even chip, for quality, delicious food, elegant and cosmopolitan, but still relax atmosphere, nice decoration, friendly service. It is good idea make reservations

get over it

We love going to Judy's & only wish we could eat there more often . It's not pricey unless you compare it to some genaric chain . App's are around $7-8 & entrees are from $14 to a little over $20 . Jeez ...

Very trendy restaurant, creative food made with fresh ingredients, always wonderful. A little pricey. Reservations are a must.

Great Date Place
By Sherri, 12/18/05
If you can get past the fact that Judy's is in a bad neighborhood (they employ a security guard to stand watch on the corner) Judy's is definitely a good reason to venture into the city. Their menu is limited and a little pricey, but you're really paying for atmosphere. This is a classy place to take a date. They sometimes have music. Always make a reservation.
