My wife and I were just there for Sunday brunch, they are the only place in the suburbs that serve Lox, sable, and white fish. When the platter came to the table, the tomato, onion, and cucumber should have been thrown out a week ago. If the veggies they serve as part of their platters are old and rotten, I was not going to take a chance by eating the fish. Last time we had had an issue with bad service. I will not be going back.
Michaels is a great place for sandwiches, breakfast and your all american Jewish deli food. The food is always good, not too much, not too little. Coffee flows freely into your cup all meal long. I have been happy with the food every time i have been there. They also stock a very very wide assortment of beer, a lot of hard to find labels as well. It is your general deli and the atomosphere is nothing to write home about. Bright lights, cheap mis matching plates, crotchety waitresses, but always a good meal had by all.
