I`ve had Birthday Parties, Funeral Luncheons and Retirement Parties at Peppers. Never had a bad meal or shoddy service, I`d recommend this establishment to anyone for anything! Lifetime K of P resident and I`ve found that a lot of times reviews reflect the writer. Nine times out of ten the bad review writer wouldn`t enjoy anywhere in the area so stay home!
Sal, the owner lies on price and up charges later. Frank I m assuming is the manager is rude and inconsiderate.
My wife and I decided to do a lunch for the family and chose Peppers because we were sold that the owner (Sal) could deliver a nice meal. We were quoted one estimated price for the lunch for an estimated amount of people. The total number of people to be confirmed later. He said there was no charge for the children (not true, he charged anyway). We confirmed earlier in the week with Sal that we would have 18 adults for lunch they charged for 22 including the kids. While the staff was nice and accommodating they got the order wrong. We ll never be showing up there again.
I will never go to this establishment again. One of the owners, Frank,
definately has a napoleon complex or something. He is rude, stands there looking like a miserable fool, and we heard him making nasty remarks and basically treating one of his servers badly. Karl the General Manager is high strung and this place is not warm and relaxing at ALL!
We will never go there again.
Awful. Slow service, the waitress spent more time talking to other tables then doing her job. She also messed up our order possibly because she was to busy talking to her regulars. I could not find a manger to express my concerns, I feel like no one was in charge. Not going back.
I had my child's Baptism celebration at Peppers for approximately 50 people. The food was excellent! The service was great. Having had 2 other Baptism celebrations for my other children at different restaurants in the past couple of years, Peppers by far was the best experience. My family and friends who ate at Peppers for the first time at the celebration enjoyed their food. It was a hit!!!!! Not only did they like it so much, I was asked by my family to order platters to bring to the next family get together over Easter!!! If your planning a function or celebration, or just want a good dinner at a reasonable price, Peppers in King of Prussia is the place. :)
We had a fabulous 60th birthday party at Pepper's Italian Restaurant and the food and wait service was excellent! Our waiter, Scott did a great job. I would highly recommend visiting Pepper's as it is one of the best Italian's restaurants in the area. We will be back soon!
I can not thank peppers enough for the beautiful job they did at event I held there on 3/1/11. Everything from the food to the service was wonderful. We have received numerous compliments on a wonderful party from many who attended. We will definitely be using peppers for any future events. I would highly recommend peppers to any one looking to have a private party.
I went there to watch the Penn State game around 12pm. There was hardly anyone in the bar. I brought my 14 month old daughter there and when we got there I had to bring the high chair myself to the table. While we were waiting forever for our menus I let my daughter walk around and she was saying Hi to everyone and just walking around and everyone loved her. She was not making noises or doing anything. Then the Manager Frank came up to us and told us we have to get out of his restaurant because she is not allowed to do that. When I followed her to get her he grabbed my daughter by her arm and I took her away. Then told him this was not right and left. He could have told us to either but her in her high chair or to take her to the restaurant area. But no instead he told us that we had to get out of his restaurant now. I do not like the service there and especially the fact that he grabbed my daughter by the arm!!
I used to live in King of Prussia, and there are a few things I miss. First and foremost, WAWA! Next, Peppers! Whether I went to enjoy a nice dinner with my family, or headed back to the bar with my friends, I always enjoyed the same great food and servers that treated me as if I were family. The hot pork, provolone and broccoli rabe is to die for, and I highly recommend it! The owners, Sal and Frank, are local boys who grew up together in the area. Karl, the general manager, is always there to make sure your experience is nothing less than perfect. The best part is, the bartenders are REAL LIVE bartenders. They're professional, but make you feel welcome by remembering your favorite drink, every time!
If you're there to catch Lisa and Jimmy behind the bar together, you're in for some good laughs, good drinks and terrific service. Man I miss that place!
