I can't believe there are so many positive reviews for this mediocre place. Their traditional pizza is far below average. The owners don't seem to take any pride in it at all. (Although, like most pizza, when you get it by the slice/re-heated, it's ok.)
Their Sicilian pizza is pretty good, although it's large and expensive. And their sandwiches are, again, mediocre.
Now that New Haven Pizza has moved closer to the middle of the borough, there's no reason to settle for Benny's. I suspect local residents and the lunch crowd have come to this realization, as Benny's has now expanded their hours and their window ads. Plus, I think delivery is now available through one of those Take-Out Taxi places that delivers from several restaurants (for $5 or so plus tip).
