Nicks uses unfair business practices, they charg a $15 minimum to use your card which is against viusa regulations. According to visa a merchant can only imply a $10 minimum to use your card. I ordered a sandwich and fries on my way home from work and when I got there they told me I couldn't use my card because it was less than $15. They conveniently have an ATM that charges a $2.25 surcharge (which they make) and my bank charges me a $2 fee on top of that. The girl was ignorant when I told her they were not allowed to have that high of a minimum purchase. Needless to say that will be the last time I will be going to Nick's. With the way the economy is they should be lucky customers are even giving them business.
I love this place. I've been going there for years. This place bring's a lot of memories with it. Everytime I go back they always seem to be expanding. It has good food, good atmosphere and friendly people. If ever in Philly this should be one of your local stops.
