Trust me it is truly worth the wait! The food is delicious!! The best in the tristate area!! I don't mind waiting an hour. As matter of fact Im going to invite Guy from: Diners, Dive-Ins and Dive to come check out this amazing place!! The food is sooo good and you get large portions!! Really who could ask for more
This is a smaller comfortable restaurant in the Italian Market area of the city. The food, at least the salmon that I had, was very fresh and may have been the pinkest salmon I have ever had. I believe this is some of the best seafood in the city for the price. It is BYOB and can be for either couples or groups of friends. I don't picture this as being the best place for kids, I don't really think the menu caters to children. There is outside dining, which is where I sat. I did not really see the inside to much, so I am not sure just how large it is. Parking in the area can be an issue, especially if the market is busy that day. This is a romantic restaurant, very nice first date restaurant because the setting is very comfortable and would allow for a lot of good conversation. ~Matt D
So much to choose from!!!! The variety of menu items offer old breakfast and lunch favorites with a twist (apple & sharp cheddar omelettes, whole-wheat pancakes, cream-cheese stuffed French toast, Caesar salad with roasted reds), healthy vegetarian-friendly options (homemade granola, yogurt and fruit, tofu scramble, vegetarian cheese steak), as well as creative seasonal specials (pumpkin pancakes, egg-white frittata with salmon, tomato, and goat cheese). All entrees are reasonably priced ($6-12) generously portioned, and they even have regular items if your appetite isn't so adventurous, a satisfying experience all around. The service is always friendly and fast. Atmosphere is comfy and pleasant, with 3 different dining rooms including sidewalk seating outdoors. The eclectic crowd of hipsters, socialites, and neighborhood locals from families to solos, lets you know how well-received Sabrina's is. The only downside is that it's very busy on the weekends, so expect a wait for brunch seating, especially if you're a party of 6 or more. Reservations highly recommended. Also don't forget to come back for dinner, it's just as satisfying.
This is a groovy restaurant where all are welcome. A CA vibe in PA. The food is great and the wait staff friendly. You may have to wait for a table, but you can call ahead to get on the list and it is well worth it.
Ahh, Sabrinas. By far the best place to have brunch in Philadelphia! Sabrinas is an unassuming cafe that draws a large, eclectic crowd. The food is imaginative - pumpkin pancakes with fresh berries, lime butter, and vanillia syryp - and simply divine. Even brunch standards like omlettes or eggs benedict have special touches to make them unique, and uniquely tasty. The specials menu changes frequently and always features delicious dishes; I often wonder how they can possibly think of so many amazing food combinations. Sabrinas is also a fantastic value; I've alwasy been delighted to open the bill and pay a lot less than my tastebuds expected. You'll dine on plain tables in simple rooms, or on wire bistro tables if you prefer the sidewalk seating - but who needs fancy decour when you have amazing dishes?
Sabrinas draws a large crowd on the weekends, so you may find yourself waiting an hour to get a table. This isn't a problem though - it's located around the corner from the Italian market - another Philly culinary landmark. Here you can shop for cheap produce and sample delicious chesses, or buy an authentic home made cannoli. Just don't spoil your appetite!
