Caffe Valentino, Philadelphia

We dined here a couple of months back; it was a great experience. Service was wonderful and the ambiance delightful. I loved the Italian music playing in the background. They had great selections. The appetizers were delicious. One downfall: serving 8 people dinner entrees at once may have caused the food on our platters get cold. Our food was not hot; it was lukewarm. They need to work on that....but for now it won't stop us from going back.....we just loved it!

I have been here before and like this byob very much. Really good service and atmosphere. Most of the help are from Italy and really know their stuff. Always love their anti pasta's and items off the main menu are very well priced and tasty. Made the mistake of ordering the SPECIAL, which was a simple Bronzino Fish and by the way the waiter described it I would be in heaven and had made a brilliant choice. Turned out to be a really small fish fillet with just some tossed greens on the plate. LAME and then left shocked that they had the nerve to charge me $28 for a special that was anything but that!! Turns out I was not brillant after all, bummer. Final word is stay on the regular menu and you will be in for a nice meal at a reasonable price.

wow wow wow!!!!! my family and i went to caffe valentino for easter dinner. what a lovely experience. i'm general manager at a restaurant down the shore.normally i don't give 5 stars,but caffe valentino deserves it.in food, service and overall.i highly recommend it!
