Was too chopped, I don't like my food with a pre-chewed texture. You do get lots of meat sandwich is large enough for two people order the triple cheese to help with the dryness. Overall I liked Pat's better for promptness and with the cheese on top and the meat thinly sliced.

Average. Basically just a huge hoagie roll with a ton of chopped beef on it. Not enough cheese by far, the meat was very dry, I'd recommened getting it with sauce,(they offer marinara) or adding more cheese on top when you get home. Yes the portions are huge, you'll have enough for lunch and dinner. However they don't sell fries or anything. Ok I guess, but a pound of dry meat on bread with a tiny bit of cheese doesn't send me into spasms of ecstasy, maybe I'm just not a cheesesteak person.

The food was excellent! and the crew was very pleasing to your needs. In addition to that, the portions were hugh! I could not eat the entire sandwich in one sitting. I would recommend this establishment to anyone who wants to know the true meaning of a Philly Cheese Steak!

Paganos Staeaks the best in town
By dog, 12/2/06
Paganos is the best in Philadelphia. If you put Paganos Steak in South Philly they would close those other spots down.

DEEELISH!!!
By Supreme Diva, 10/5/06
These have got to be the FATTEST, most delicious cheesesteaks EVER. And the cost? Phenomenal. The girls that work the steaks and hoagie counters are the best! And they are quick too. Highly recommended!!!

mmmmmmm mmmmmmmm good!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/5/05
Like the rest of the reviewers, I have been going to Pagano's since I can remember. The cheese steaks with the variety of cheese choices can not be beat by Pat's or Geno's. I have a sister in Florida and a brother in Japan and whenever they come home, Pagano's is ALWAYS the first stop; even before they unpack their bags!! If anyone reading this ever wants their taste buds to crave for more, stop by Pagano's on the 7600 block of Ogontz----it's worth the trip!!

The Best Cheesesteaks in Philly!!!
By g-dub, 10/17/05
I've lived near Pagano's all my life and I'm now 32 years old. There was nothing like getting a Pagano's cheesesteak on the weekends, sitting back and popping on a good movie or checking out a Penn State football game (yes....I'm a Nittany lion fan and graduate). If you didn't want a cheesesteak, you could purchase a hoagie, which was just as good. As it was then, so it is now. The best part about their sandwiches is the meat!!! As a meat lover, they pack on the beef!!! Even the hoagies are packed. The only dislike I have with this restaurant is that when its crowded sometimes the orders get mixed up, but after it error is recognized, they quickly correct the order for you. Overall, a great place to get take-out when your starving and need your belly to be filled.
