Pat's King of Steaks, Philadelphia

I had the displeasure of visiting Pat’s today for the first and last time ever. The food was bland but that could be forgiven. What is unforgivable is the horrible service. Who do these people think they are? The employees, especially the person taking the orders, were extremely rude. He made a mistake in my order and blamed me, stating that was not what I said when placing my order. One thing is to be efficient but that no excuse for being rude and obnoxious. The problem had to be solved by another employee since this man refused to accept his mistake and give me the correct sandwich. Even the greatest ones fall and it would be a shame to see the lifelong effort of the founders of this institution crumble down one angry customer at a time.

The steaks here really are very good, but I think the service is just rude! You need to order a certain way or they glare at you and there is always a line wrapped around the building. Definitely good but I can t say much for how they treat you.

They are all hype; they use cheese wiz on a standard cheesesteak instead of real cheese which is bs. I've had a better cheesesteak in O'Hare International airport.

JUNK, JUNK, JUNK. I HAVE HAD BETTER CHEESESTEAKS AT SUBWAY. I SEEN IT ON FOOD NETWORK, SUPPOSED TO BE THE BEST. I'M GONNA OPEN A SHOP ACROSS THE STREET , THEN TAKE A PASTY CRAP ON A BUN,WITH CHEESEWHIZ,AND SELL IT TO THE IDIOTS LIKE MYSELF THAT GO THERE. I WILL NEVER EAT AT PATS OR GENOS AGAIN. WASTE OF MONEY, AND SPACE IN YOUR STOMACH....

My brother has lived in phili for a while and decided to take me to get my first cheese steak ever. He told me about the huge Geno and Pats rivalry, so I came up with an idea for me to try the cheese steaks without knowing which one came from where and then eat them both and compare. My brother bought the cheese steaks and I had no idea which one came from where. Once I had the cheese steaks in front of me I ate them, one was sloppy and oozing cheese and the condiments I put on it, and the other was a solid cheese steak without any drippings and ooze. For me I liked the one that didn't drip cheese all over my fingers and it overall tasted better. All in all that cheese steak was a Pats cheese steak. I am a Pats fan, sorry Genos.

I love Pat's, although I wish they had hand cut fries...and most of all they don't post racist signs like Geno's next door.

Over rated, over priced junk food with shitty service. Those guys suck, should have spent spent my money elsewhere. Those dicks think they have a monopoly, not with me they don't.

So I decide last Saturday to take a trip to Philly with my wife and sister to have a famous Pat's Cheesesteak. The whole ride down I was praising how good it was going to be. We arrived and waited on line for about 45 minutes that was fine its going to be a great sandwich who cares. I decide to order 2 sandwiches (what the hell you only live once) We sit down and start eating the sandwich was ok not great but i was still excited to eat at such a well know place then I started on the other sandwich my wife had finished hers but was taking bites of mine. I am about to have my last bite and notices something ( A LONG PIECE OF HAIR IN THE CHEESE WIZ) i almost puked but I held my composure I didn't want to make a ruckus because there abput 30 people on line waiting to the right of me. I should have went to Geno's or Tony Luke's I was definitley heart broken.
