Al's Corner Deli, Philadelphia

The food there is dynamite. The old fashioned egg potato salad is to die for. The pancakes are so good, you don't even need syrup. The chilli is awesome. The cream cheese sweet potato pie is luscious. The slab bacon is mmmm mmmm mmmm. I just had the meatballs for dinner and WOW. I could go on but you get the idea. They have a little bit of everything. Fruit salad, sandwiches, luncheon meat, delicious lemon cake, cookies, a bakery counter......Best deli I've ever been to. Hands down.

I love this place, there are great people in here and great food also. Takes a while to get your sandwich, so calling ahead is recommended. Great side dishes, reasonable pricing. What a great Deli

I usually stop in every morning around the same time on my way to work. I get me coffee, talk to my friend who works the counter and go. It's good. But don't order a sandwich around lunchtime, you'll be there all day.

Best hoagies and best breakfast sandwiches in Philadelphia, w/o a doubt. Cheesesteaks are good not great. Very good selection of luchmeat, etc..service is very fast, but call ahead mid-days.
