The Continental, Philadelphia

This place has a very comfy and relaxing ambiance. The staff is nice and friendly. Good and delicious food as well.

I am a disabled person who requires a service dog with me at all times and I was REFUSED SERVICE IN THIS RESTAURANT! The waiter and manager VERY rude to me and kept asking very loudly what my disability is, which is illegal and also demanding paperwork for the dog which I am not legally obligated to carry or show to anyone. I was HUMILIATED to say the least and after being yelled at IN FRONT OF OTHER PATRONS for almost an hour I just needed to get my blood sugar back up by getting something to eat so we went elsewhere. THIS RESTAURANT AND IT'S STAFF DISCRIMINATE AGAINST DISABLED PEOPLE!!!!! IT'S 2010, ADA WAS PASSED IN 1990! GET WITH THE PROGRAM!!!! THE STAFF IS OBVIOUSLY EITHER NOT EDUCATED AT ALL, ILL EDUCATED, OR COMPLETELY IGNORANT; BUT EITHER WAY WHAT THEY DID TO ME IS COMPLETELY ILLEGAL AND I SUGGEST EVERYONE BOYCOTT THIS RESTAURANT ESPECIALLY IF YOU OR SOMEONE YOU KNOW IS DISABLED OR REQUIRES A SERVICE DOG ACCOMPANY THEM AT ALL TIMES. I AM STILL UPSET OVER THIS, IT IS JUST NOT RIGHT.

Looks diner like, they serve you at diner speed, but it's priced like you're supposed to have a longer meal

More of a bar atmosphere. Great place to meet up, enjoy a drink and a few small plates while enjoying Old City

The place to go when you're in the mood for tasty small plates and snappy decor.

Outdated menu, overpriced and served with the same poor attitudes as the Rittenhouse location, just as consistantly.

The food is solid, but not particularly innovative. It's an upscale drinking hole that serves a decent menu.

The brunch is one of the best in the city, but beware, at the time when I dined there, you had to buy each cup of coffee... no free refills.

The best of the "Continentals".
