Great restaurant. Fantastic food, great service. Very reasonably priced. Come as you are dress code. There's even parking!

This is without a doubt the best Italian restaurant in the city. The food is great. The prices are very reasonable. I have friends from Sicily, who love it. They ask to go there whenever they're in the area. So that says it all for me.

The food was excellent, the escargo is amazing as are the rock shrimp over white beans. The service is great and the prices are very reasonable. There is a lounge next door that is great place to wait for a table or have an after dinner drink.

We recently visited Spasso and looked forward to a dining experience. The food was average, nothing to bring you back in a hurry. We were placed in the back of a room that had a excessively loud, inconsiderate party going on. The background music was inordinately loud. We could not carry on a conversation without raising our own voices. The management saw the problem and relocated us to another room, but lo!... there was another party going on that we were stuck in the middle of. A terrible dining experience. The only bright light was the wait staff that was prompt, courteous and considerate. The overall experience was disappointing.

I have never written a bad review about a restaurant before, and still feel uncomfortable doing it. However, last night's experience with Spasso was disappointing. We arrived 45 min. early and found several empty tables, so business was not the problem. Appetizers were average to above average, which was expected. We ended up waiting 1 hr and 20 minutes more for our entrees, which were not that hard to prepare(veal parmegian, sausage on salad, grilled bronzini, and a veal with a demi-glace sauce. The quality was not thhat good, about the level of an Olive Garden, and dinner for 4 with two bottles of inexpensive wine came out to $270 including the pre-charged 18% tip. I can think of 25 Italian restaurants in town that can do a lot better for a lower price point.
