Romano's Pizzeria & Italian, Essington

Romano's has great Stromboli. It was so big that it lasted another meal and it tasted great. I can't wait to go back soon and try more of their food.

I don't know what the've done but this place really has lost it's touch. They used to have the best of everything. Our favorite used to be the chicken parm with rigatoni. Now the sauce and the pizza is inedible. They should go back to the way the did it before when Mr Romano was around.

I grew up in Chester,PA and our family loved goint to Romano's. When I left Chester in 1969 I would call in stromboli orders to Romano's and I'm talking like about 50 to 100 of them,cause I got people I worked with in VA hooked on them and we would order them ahead of time and freeze them! When I came back in 2003 for a school reunion, hadn't been to PA since 1993 - first place I went to for dinner was Romano's. I have always loved the food there and if I am able to make it up to PA again (as I live in Alabama now) I of course will go to eat at Romano's and bring some stromboli's back to Bama!

I am lucky to have family that has been taking me to Romanos for over 20 years. The square pies are delicious because of the homemade sauce that is made daily. I truely enjoy picking up an italian hoagie from Romanos on the way to an Eagles Game or Citizens Bank Park, because they make it with real proscuitto, when other places are using regular boiled ham. Try the orginal pepperoni stromboli or cheesesteak! Happy Eating!

Just picked up a large sqaure pizza, orginal stromboli, and cheesesteak from Romanos this week, and everything was delicious! Hat's off to the cook and the Romano family for providing great authentic italian food at an affordable price. I highly recommend anyone to try the place out, I've been eating there for years and always enjoyed the food. I was even watching Guy Fietti on the Food Network last month, and he even reference Romanos in Essington for their great stromboli's, and gave them credit for orginating it. WOW!

STROMBOLI!!!: The first AND best Original Stromboli you will ever taste! Get the marinara dipping sauce on the side too, its AWESOME. Just a regular stromboli is more then one serving!

i used to get meals here all the time, but thier prices have gone through the roof,i think last time i bought from romano's was 2 yrs ago

Ramano's has the best marinara sauce ever! The entire menu is great and the service is ever better. I have been and will be a customer for life. Keep up the good work Ramano's!
