My family has been going to Karps for at least 30 years. We went last night for the first time in three years. It went down hill even more in three years. The service was awful, it is no wonder it was only us and another couple there. My drink glass sat empty while our server passed our table four times, I finally had to ask. Our table was crowded with dirty dishes while our server socialized with his friends in the back dining room. The salad bar was good except for the machine sliced onions, thin rings like you would put on a hoagie. The fried flounder was OK but the Veal Parm was mediocre, it was half of the thickness that it used to be and the bland sauce had a strange aftertaste, kind of like Tea. The baked potatoes were very good. In my opinion the place started to change right after Charlie passed away and three years ago, it wasn't too great that's why it took so long to go back. We won't be returning after last nights experience.
