Logan Inn
By Lender, 5/13/13
Had reservations for Christmas Eve requesting a table by the window, arrived 5 min early and were seated immediately right by the giant outdoor Christmas tree and were told the light show would begin in a few minutes - this was a surprise! Service was impeccable, server was very knowledgable and made excellent recommendations. We had the 8oz. S. African cold water lobster tails topped with 8oz. of lump crab served with fresh steamed veggies and a mix of wild and white rice. We both agreed this was one of the best lobster meals we ve ever eaten. Cocktails and appetizer (clams casino) were amazing. All food was cooked to perfection. Tables were not crowded together, atmosphere was warm and romantic. We can t wait to go back again soon!

The service was excellent. We were greeted immediately and our server met us as well. Very prompt and polite. Good selection of beers and they have a number of Belgian beers. A big plus for me. The Kobe burger was excellent. A definite place to visit again.

This restaurant is top-notch. I ve eaten here numerous times and I always get a sumptuous meal and attentive service. They obviously use top-notch ingredients and everything I ve eaten here as been exceptional. The ambiance and location are excellent, and the outdoor bar is always hopping in warm weather. I d recommend the Logan Inn to anyone!

Great place to stop for lunch when shopping in New Hope for the day. I love the outdoor seating for a nice day. The service is friendly and you aren t rushed in an out. I definitely recommend checking it out!

Overpriced, so-so food
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/9/11
Likes: Atmosphere is pleasant to sit outside on a nice day. Wait staff was courteous. Dislikes: Food was way over priced for the quality. I had a $15 turkey sandwich- tomato was pale white and flavorless, chips were tasteless and the roll was down right stale. With all the other restaurants to go to in New Hope I will not return nor could I recommend the Logan Inn.

Not quite great, but close. Good food, great setting. Visit on a weeknight if possible! The steak was delicious, 3 of 4 appetizers were great as well. I would personally steer clear of New Hope on weekends....

It is room 14 that is haunted
By ben's mom, 11/9/08
We had a great time. We stayed in Room 14 we arrived early and they were able to show us into the room by 1:00 p.m. We walked around town and decided to eat at Taste Buds. We went back to our room early. During the night I woke up many times hearing a door opening and closing. I heard loud foot steps right outside our door and out to the back wall. When I woke up I told my husband and he said he heard it also. He told me he felt someone in the room and I said I couldn't believe the footsteps out side the door. We both went out and tested each other and we couldn't hear anything when we were walking. My husband and I were both freaked out. He told me he woke up and he thought someone was in our bathroom and he felt something on his feet. We discussed this throughout the day. We stayed there on the 7th and I felt like someone was throwing tissues on me all night to wake me up. If you wanted a haunting, Room 14 was crazy. I don't think I could ever stay in that room again. We have stayed at the Inn about 15 times in the last 10 years. We love the new chef and the food is excellent. I just don't want to hear or see another ghost! I mean it. I think it is funny since we saw the people going into Room 6 and we heard they didn't see a thing. YEAH no kidding all the ghosts were busy in our room... CRAZY

Lousy lodging but Great Food
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/14/08
We just spent the weekend here for our 22nd Wedding anniversary. The weekend was ruined because the Inn is so loud being on a busy tourist street. The terrace bar and restaurant are open late 2:00am. Our room was on the front just above it. Loud drunks & overhead music through speakers. Not the peaceful romantic trip we had hoped for. Dine here, the food is awesome but do not sleep here. Bye the way; it is super haunted. Do not stay in room 6. Check out the history. After this trip we renamed the town NO Hope Pa. It is more fitting. Oddest town on the map.
