Visited today and was very disappointed. Ordered a Caprese wrap . . . roasted red peppers were substituted with raw red peppers . . . there was no basil on the wrap like the menu stated . . . and the tomatoes were hard as rocks. The wrap was tasteless! Won t be visiting here again!!
What a wonderful experience! Our family had breakfast here last week and had a great meal. Waitstaff was very attentive, food looked amazing, and we will be sure to come and try their dinner. I m so glad to see a place that is BYOB offering a $17 three course dinner!
My husband and I ate at Waterlilies Restaurant just last night. We have eaten out enough to know when a place is worth returning to and this place definitley is such a place! We had a delicious meal in a lovely setting and the wait staff were very nice and efficient...now what is wrong with that? Absolutely NOTHING! I really don't understand the people who always want to complain, especially when there is a forum such as email to hide behind! Give Waterlilies a try if you haven't. It could easily become a favorite!
I went today with a girlfriend. My salad was served on a very warm plate and when I remarked about it the waitress said the plate just came from the dishwasher which seemed no surprise to me. My surprise was that she didn't think that is was inappropriate to serve chilled greens on a warm plate. Our iced teas were tasteless. My friend ordered quiche. The pastry dough was warm enough but uncooked. The waitress seemed unimpressed by this revelation and not at all sympathetic. Our plates were removed and the waitress brought our check which had been discounted. She seemed totally unconcerned about the impression with which we were left of her and the food preparation. Neither of us will go back. So many great places to dine in our area ....the owners of Waterlilies should be embarrased.
My sister recently went to here with herhusband, 1 1/2 yr old son, & 80 yr old grandmother. They hostess looked annoyed that they didn't have a reservation, but sat them anyway. The place was empty. My nephew was an angel, even another couple commented on how great he was. When they got their food he started to act up a bit and a member of the staff asked my sister to take him outside until he could calm down. He was barely even making a fuss. All in all bad experience! My grandmother ended up finishing her meal on a park bench in Peddler's Village. The was staff was very pretentious and rude. This is something you wouldn't expect from a resteraunt that makes you sit on green plastic lawn chairs! Don't waste your time. This place is not worth the money.
OK...my sister and I went out to eat at this little restaurant outside of New Hope, PA. It's up near Peddler's Village just off 202. Anyway, the food was a bit expensive but worth every penny!! Amazing right down to the veggies! Oh, and I MUST mention the Raspberry Chocolate Layer Cake! OMG...to DIE for!
