Apple Valley Family Restaurant
When Ed and Gretel Metzger founded Apple Valley over 30 years ago, it fulfilled Ed's dream to recapture the essence of a special place in California called Apple Valley, the home of the cowboy singers Roy Rogers and Dale Evans. When Ed Metzger acquired the property in Milford, Pennsylvania, his dream began to take shape. First, there was a pancake house, a motel and some cabins on the property. Then, the concept of the Village evolved within a tranquil country sanctuary with ponds, waterfalls, rolling meadows, fruit trees, and evergreens. The pancake house was transformed into Apple Valley Restaurant and the cabins became the specialty shops. We invite you to stroll the grounds, feed the ducks and browse through the shops. Over the years, the Metzger's have created a theme that captures the weathered, timeless spirit of America. Apple Valley grows as Milford grows. Today Steve Metzger is proud to welcome you as his guest and hopes you enjoy the heritage of American foods at Apple Valley Restaurant and the pleasure of companionship and entertainment at the Apple Valley Pub.
Gave my daughter a g/c for Christmas and they loved it. Then went back with her- great again. Then went the next month with my fiance- great food, service was really good.
Nice family atmosphere and casual. Reasonable prices. Going again tonight.
Been going there for years, always good, always consistent always busy = food turn over so the one review about being sick must be a personal thing againsts Apple Valley, maybe he should go to a microwave fast food place.
My parents used to take me there when I was a kid and now I take my family there and they love it. they love the duck ponds .
Apple Valley has a big menu, nice atmosphere, a bar with lots of local flavor. There isn't anything really bad about the place, but there isn't anything really FANTASTIC either. It's a step up from the diner I guess. The last two times I ate there I got sick :( just bad luck?? I had Nachos... beware. hahaha
