Seven of us went on a Tuesday for dinner at 5:00 p.m. The gentlemen host was not nice to us because we did not have a reservation. There were plenty of empty tables and there was no line. He told us that we had to be out by ten minutes to seven. I thought if you can't get us out by then I do not want to come back. The bread and olive oil was very good. The salad contents was not to our liking. We prefer more iceberg or romaine. The entree's had generous portions and tasted good. We were out by 6:10 p.m. There were a lot of people waiting to get in. We won't be in a hurry to go back. We did not like our host's tone to us when we first arrived. There are plenty of other italian restaurants to go to.
Wow im not sure what all the hype is with this place.Bread was burnt, waitress spilled my water, portions, while average tasting, were borderline monsterous.I couldve fed a family of 4 on my meal alone. What a waste of food.I'll take an Olive Garden or a Carabbas over this place any day.
This THE worst Italian food that I have ever had in my life. My friend had raved about this place. I finally went with him on October 16th. Inedible. I kept my mouth shut because I did not want to hurt his feelings. A mistake. I will NEVER go there again.
Unprofessional. I ordered food for a Christmas dinner over three weeks in advance. I went to the restaurant and ordered it in person. The man even went back to the kitchen and made me wait while he checked. I received a call three hours before the pick up time informing me there was a problem with my order. They wanted to charge me double the price I was quoted. I was forced to scramble for something else to serve. It really ruined my plans and my mood.
My wife and I have had a pleasant experience every time we have been to Paolo's. The Food is always fresh and delicious. The portions are huge for the price. To think anyone would go to a chain restaurant like Olive Garden knowing a place like this exists is beyond me. Great Italian food, period!
Absolutely wonderful, but always so crowded. I wish they would expand the dining area to give everyone a little privacy. Can't say enough good things about the food, it's the best and the portions are huge!
This is the best restaurant that I no longer go to. Paolo appparently thinks standing in the parking lot for 50 minutes in any and all weather is part of the fine dining experience. I don't.
And they refuse to allow you to call ahead and be placed on the seating list; that would be too convenient. You *must* go in person and ask to be put on the list.
Paolo is giving us all a signal: We're too crowded, please don't come.
