Moved to Indiana several years ago. When I come back home, the first place we go is Newberry Subs. We get halves of several so we can all have a piece. You can't find a sub to compare.
After we're stuffed on subs we go looking for country store ring bologna. There are just good things at home you can't get any place else in the world, I think that's what makes coming home so special.
Lived in williamsport all my life.Moved to Alabama 4yrs ago. When we get home one of the first things we get is a cheese steak from Newberry. They are the best ever! you cant even get a a sub down here that even comes close to yours. We also go to the Purple Cow on rt 45 for the best soft peanutbutter ice cream.
I moved out of Williamsport to Philadelphia in 1993. I still say they have the best hoagies and best cheesesteaks. Sorry Philly but they are number one in my books. Going back to Williamsport Fri. night (08/08/08) and looking forward to going to Newberry Sub Shop then. I don't crave much but I do their cheesesteaks and hoagies.
I grew up in Williamsport, but moved to Northern Virginia about 10 years ago. There are thousands of restaurants in my area, but I have never had a sub better than the ones at Newberry Sub Shop!!! I recommend the grinder.
