Consistently mediocre
The miso soup, the tekkamaki (tuna roll), and the flyingfish nigiri were outstanding, but they were the exception.
The eel maki included sirimi (fake crab) even though my wife specifically wrote "No Crab Stick" because she's allegic to the wheat gluten they use as a binder.
Additionally, the eel sauce was the worst we've ever had. Like straight sho-yu.
The salmon skin roll (my usual favorite) was also mediocre. One slice had no skin at all, just relatively tasteless salmon.
The yellowtail was cooked, and also tasteless.
Waitrons generally ignored us and the other table in the back, so it took too long to get served, and too long again to get our check.
