Downtown Oip & Grille, Lewistown

We USED to love this place but it has changed a lot. Personality is not as strong. It is too hot in there - airconditioning seems inadequate or something. Salads are always warm. Staff apathetic for most part. Our last take out pizza underdone...yeck. BUT the wings and ribs are still so good and beer is cold. Miss going there. Just too disappointing.

I called on a Saturday afternoon for take out, and the girl who answered the phone rushed me sooo much that I knew I was bothering her. When I tried to talk to her all she kept saying, was, Anything Else?! I won't be calling or going there again, it is a shame that phone orders bother them so much.

re: OIP at Burnham PA. I love their Lobster/Shrimp Palermo, WOW!!! I live in Ephrata PA, & just don't get up there anymore, since my in-laws moved back down to Mt. Joy, PA. OIP/Burnham was always my favorite restaurant when we would go out to eat while visiting with them up on Peach Orchard Road. My daughter is now attending college over in Lewisburg & they have an OIP over there, but they don't have my favorite L/S Palermo. I wish OIP would come to the Ephrata area of Lancaster County. Oh & OIP/Burnham is a very clean, well run establishment also, which just happens to have the best food around, need I say more. TerryS from Ephrata PA

I LOVE there wings and i hate wings but there wings ROCK great place to sit with family and talk and spend time..

I frequently order the Chicken Parmesan sub from the Burnham OIP and it is always great. However, when I ordered the same item at the Downtown OIP, it was terrible. The bread was too soft and not thoroughly cooked, while the chicken was overdone to the point of being burnt and tasting of charcoal. The waitress was pleasant, although overall service was slow. My dinner companions also did not enjoy their soups. I will not be returning for meals here.

We love going to Downtown OIP and go more and more frequently. Good food and friendly service. One thing I really miss is being able to get my coffee in a real ceramic mug. Coffee is always way better that way. We even have to take ours out into the wilds when we go camping. Here we can't get them in town.

They got some GOOD food there... I always get a Chicken Ceaser salad. MMMmmmmmm

yuk!This resturant is another I or my family does not go to.EVERYTIME I get something there it either makes me sick,tastes very bad or is made wrong,we even found feathers in our wings before.Not worth my hard earned dollars!

johnny is an outstanding owner,he welcomes everyone and is friendly to all ,thye have incredible food, they need to open another restaurant on 522 north

great place for italian food and seafood
