This is an amazing restaurant. The only complaint about it is that it isn't a chain restaurant, so the whole world can't enjoy the delicious food. It is my favorite restaurant. It is my daughter's favorite restaurant. The folks are nice. The prime rib is the best you'll find. This is the restaurant that other restaurants in the area try to copy. It's a bit pricey, but it's worth the price on occasion.
My wife and I went on 8/6/11 on a recommendation, but were very disappointed. The croutons in the salad were soggy, the prime rib was very rare when we asked for medium rare. I ordered the King Prime rib, but I could not even cut part of the meat with their sharp knife and had to take it home to do something with it. I used the plate that holds the butter dish to hold all the fat I had to cut off the meat ( and the plate was full). We were VERY disappointed.
We haven't been to Babbs Creek Inn for some time. We don't get up that way often, however, the first time I was there I had the filet mignon and it was awesome. We also took a day trip once and stopped for breakfast and it was just as good. Great atmosphere also.
No matter what we try - it's always delicious! My husband always gets the prime rib - I try everything else. It takes a little while for the food but definitely worth it! Great place to go for any occasion!
