Jim's Italian Cuisine, Bellefonte

We go there fairly often and really love the food. I would eat that lasagne several times a week but would gain way too much weight. The Chef Salad with house dressing is also a weight challenge because I cannot resist the garlic bread with melted cheese.

Open a jar of Ragu and throw about a half of pound of sugar in it and vola...you have Jim's secret sauce reciepe. The famous garlic bread is just a frozen hoagie roll thrown in the oven. The meatballs are frozen store bought then heated in the microwave. Honestly, I know this is a local favorite and everyone here grew up with this restaurant but...wow, its terrible.

Jim's is awesome! Their house salad dressing is something I crave, along with their garlic bread. SOOOOO GOOD!

Usually Crowded, especially on Fridays and Saturdays...but Well worth the wait. Inconveniently located in a back alley, but again, great food, good service and friendly atmosphere. I'm from Chicago and moved to the area a little over a year ago. I loved it!

Of the restaurants in Bellefonte, Jim's is one of the best, if not the best. Other restaurants have come and gone or have changed the ways that the food is prepared, but Jim's food is the same great taste now that it was when I had it ten years ago. The food is definitely worth the price. The only down thing is that there is little parking available, so to find a parking spot and walk is a little of a pain. But the food is worth the short walk from nearby parking.

For many years I have heard that Jim's is the best. I have finally tried Jim's and I wasn't that thrilled about it. I felt the prices were very high and the parking is horrible. I had a sub and cottage fries. I would have to say that Brother's Pizza has much better subs. Probably will not go back again.

I heard so much about this that was good that I was excited to try it. The food's not bad, although the tomato sauces are rather sweet. Their hours are a little odd, too. The service is excellent, and it's nice inside.

This is the BEST place to eat in Bellefonte!!!!! All of their many selections on the menu are terriffic!!!! I try to get to Jim's at least once a week!!!! TRY IT YOU WILL LIKE IT!!!!
