Original Italian Pizza, Huntingdon

Having lived and eaten all around the world, I am amazed to say that except for Italy itself, I have found one of the best pizza parlors here in Huntingdon, PA. OIP is run by Italians and the pizza tastes like the genuine article. It is a New York style pizza with various topping choices and all extremely well priced for the quality. Now in fairness I cannot fully critique the rest of the menu though my wife has stated that she cannot find a chicken salad like theirs anywhere else. (meant in a positive way) If you are ever traveling through Huntingdon and have a hunger for great pizza then don't forget to stop at OIP. Heck, travel to Huntingdon, PA just for the pizza because in my humble opinion from Nashville to Pittsburgh to Europe I haven't found any better.

LOVED IT WHEN I FIRST STARTED GOING THERE. DON'T LOVE IT SO MUCH ANYMORE. THEY HAVE CHANGED ALOT OF THE DISHES AROUND AND MADE THEM VERY CHEAP AND NOT WORTH THE MONEY. YOU PAY $7.50 FOR SHRIMP FETTUCCINI ALFREDO AND YOU GET 5 SALAD SHRIMP, WITH A BUNCH OF NOODLES AND HARDLY ANY SAUCE, COME ON. THEY ARE ITALIAN, BUT SO IS SOMEONE ELSE IN MY FAMILY, AND LET ME TELL YOU, WHEN WE HEAR HER TALK ABOUT ITALIAN HOSPITALITY AND FOOD AND COMPARE IT TO THIS RESTAURANT, THERE'S NO SIMILARITY. I GUESS THEY THINK AMERICANS WON'T KNOW THE DIFFERENCE. THE SERVICE IS USUALLY VERY RUDE.

Service is often rude, the fair is bland and Items are waaaaaaaaaaay over priced for the area. Try dropping your prices and focusing on customer service. A nice smile goes a long way.

It's a local lunch / comfort dinner favorite, yep beer / wine if you wnat it,,, but certainly not a bar... . I usually see the boro or gas co mgr, a lawyer or construction worker in there. Just good & super clean stuff all the way around, try a pizza steak sub. You don't know me but i'd hope you rate as honestly as I.

You can't say much about OIP, what hasn't already been said! Great food, great service! Prices are reasonable! I always walk away full, and their pizza is the best!

This is a great place to eat. The waitresses are friendly and so are the cooks. The dinners are great, but their salad that goes with the dinner needs to be more than just lettuce and tomato. The homemade bread is the best.
