likable place: this is a place you have to find a food you like. ambiance is ok. seating is slightly tight but acceptable. only reason I mention this is because I am sensative to screaming children. smoking section is very small.
they serve alcohol.
waiters can be difficult to understand at times with their Spanish accent. this place tends to hire many Mexican people for authenticiy to make the restaurant seem more Mexican.
but if you can get the right food that you enjoy, you'll be very happy. they have a wide variety of combination platters, and you can order ala carte.
Dinner last night was wonderful, seated promptly, server was really great, menu varied. Husband ordered taco salad which was very good, I ordered the seafood burrito, which was delicious. A little too much tomato sauce, however, placed the burrito over my rice. Clean and spotless, I would really recommend this restaurant. Everyone seemed to really like their job and were happy. This made US very happy. We'll be back.
The service here was awesome, as well as the food. We were waited on almost immediately, refills were provided before we even finished our drinks, and the waiter checked back frequently. Even though the restaurant itself is not much to look at (it's pretty plain), they put out a good product. My family was quite pleased with what they ordered and when we were leaving Mom was even given a rose for Mother's Day!
The MOST authentic Mexican food. I have lived in Oklahoma, and when I moved back here I was devastated that the only Mexican I could get was Taco Bell. The food and service here is always TOP notch. The enchildas verde is my favorite, but I still have a hard time deciding what to get, as everything is fabulous. I love their guacamole.....
Service is terrible. Food is very good. The manager is a relative of the owner and could care less about customer service. He shouldn't be allowed to be a busboy. These guys need to be more concerned about good customer service instead of hiring someone because they speak Spanish. I speak Spanish but English would suffice in this town. They used to have excellent service until Gustavo took over as the so-called 'manager'.
My husband and i started going to this little mexican restaurant with my mother 3 years ago , everyone is soo pleasant and hospitabitle. Even though managment changes and low staffing they've managed to take good care of us and always stay ahead of our needs. The food is excellant just when you think you've found your favorite dish they'll invite you to try somthing out of the ordinary that will dazzle your taste buds with amazing spices and flavors. Not to mention they've got the best maragaritta's in PA! From regular on the rocks to mango! I highly recommend this place ... keep in mind this is authentic mexican food ... not applebee's or chili's ..lol
