This restaurant doesn't seem to be as bad as many of the reviews make it out. i had the chili and a burger which tasted good. Not sure about the other menu items. They had Yeunglings Black and Tan which I like so I was happy when I found that. I left with a 12 dollar tab so I am not sure how this is expensive. Is about the same as I would pay at most restaurants. The wait staff could be better. when I had one of the older waitresses I was treated well. I have eaten their several times after fishing trips. Maybe I was just happy for a cold drink after a day in the sun, but the place seemed ok to me.
Food is over priced and the quality is sub par. Most of the food you can tell came straight out of the freezer and into the fryer. Nothing is home made - just heat it and slap it on a plate. Waitress staff is not very friendly. Beer prices are over priced. Was charged 3 buck for a 10 oz draft beer, even though the bill recorded it as a pounder. Don't waste your time on the hype of this place. Used to be much better under previous oeners.
This place used to be good when it had a different owner. I went there and my waitress was TERRIBLE, I am waitress myself and she was not professional at all. The food is way over priced and the food is cheap. I think It should be under new managment and hire some new staff.
We just returned from Main Street. The meal was over cooked, received about 3 tablespoons of applesauce as a side. We can well afford what we paid for the meal, however nearly $14 for this bad meal was far overpriced.
The people who answer the phones at this restaurant have the characteristics of a Wild Spaz( a wild animal that is a mix between a sasquach and a caveman, it has the IQ of a box of rocks and people say it has a foul odor that can be identified miles away). They pass the phone around thirty times to answer an easy question that a three year old could answer.
One thing about Main Street Cafe is that it has the ability to be so much more. The prices are good, BUT not for the cheap food they serve. My last trip there, I ordered a Buffalo Chicken sandwhich and it tasted like it just came out of a cardboard box from the frozen food section. The wing night here is hyped, but their wings aren't anything to write home about. The beer is overpriced and the service is horrible. Mostly kids who have no idea what they're doing. I feel if this place had better management and staff, to mainly offer a few more tasty items, then it could really be worthwhile.
That's pretty much all I have to say about this place. Its not too expensive, the service is slow, but the food is just great, and the wings are out of this world. They have a very big menu, I've only had maybe 1/10th of it in the several times I've been there. Don't be in a hurry when you get there, they aren't slow because they want to be, they are just taking their time preparing your order. I have never once gotten an incorrect order at this establishment, I HIGHLY recommend checking this place out, it is a 'Hometown' style sports bar/pub. Very friendly, and a darn good value.
