Happy Buffet, Erie

great food. compared to other chinese places in erie they have the most variety and complexity of flavors in dishes. excellent sushi. also, takeout is great as well. all for 5 bucks for lunch... its a steal of a deal i eat there on a weekly basis

Nice place to eat... Food was pretty good, and the environment was nice as well... will go there again when in the mood for Chinese food.

Tops is one of my fav chinese restaruants. we have never had any problems eating there over the years. Yes the building is run down, (it was a converted fire station) the bathrooms arent the cleanest but the eating area and serving areas are always kept clean. I love the selection of foods there. especially if you have young children who dont enjoy chinese, they have kid friendly selections (american) like pizza. so the entire family can find what they like. from crab legs to won ton soup, and even sushi. good service too. best of all is the price. very affordable for a family.

This is not only my favorite chinese restaurant in erie, but it is also my favorite restaurant period. The food here is excellent, and prepared by a legit chef. At most chinese restaurants the beef is unchewable, and the chicken is stringy. At tops the food is very high quality. There is a vast selection compared to other buffets.. mei fun, chili chicken, etc, things you can't get at other restaurants such as sushi (very good), kim chi, and excellent home made pork egg rolls. It is very reasonably priced and I would recommend it to anyone. Also, many times I have seen asian people eating there... a true sign the food must be authentic and tasty ;)

I always judge a chinese buffet by the wonton soup. I did not care for it as the noodles were tough and the broth was very greasy and not very tasty. Then again, some like it like that. The soup and the cleanliness of the place were the only complaints I had. I am sure at one point and time, the place was newer and therefore cleaner. If your looking for alot of variety for a cheap price and free hot tea then you are at the right place. I just hope they clean up the place, do some disinfecting and wash the front door windows, there was a film of greasy handprints all over the entire surface.

By far the best Chinese restaurant in Erie good food great prices for the amount of food you get in takeout. Never had a problem out of all the times I've been there great experience every time.

Tops is an all-you-can-eat buffet for $7.50. The tea is free, which is a nice bonus. The food looked and tasted fresh, and it seemed really clean and taken care of. They are one of the few places with sushi on their buffet, and it's pretty good, though I'm always a little wary of buffet sushi. Some people say it's the best Chinese food in Erie. Maybe the best buffet, but I'm hoping there's a better place out there.

After the 5th time of enjoying Tops I finally had a bad experience. The chicken had an off taste, the crab was fishy and rubber like, and the vegatables were wilted. I will not be back. You get what you pay for in the end.

I love that they have Sushi and those sweet sesame balls. Only 1 other place has Sushi but they are located behind the mall, thus more expensive. Tops is the best! Don't forget to ask for tea with your meal, it's free, even in the other restaurants.

By far my favorite Chinese restaurant in Erie! Extremely affordable with a huge selection! Food quality is great, always fresh! Friendly staff and excellent service!
