The Lighthouse Inn, Erie

Overall not our first choice. This is a sleep overnight motel not a stay for a while, we never spotted a pool as advertised and no other amenities. Arrived late, key was in room and door unlocked, which made us feel it was a safe environment, Room was clean but we had to kill 20 flying insects in room. Decor and bathroom needs updating. Green bathtub barely drained when we rotated the stopper lever it came loose from the tub. Carpets need a good shampooing as well. Went to checkout at 10 am no attendant in office suppose to dial number for service outside office but phone had been removed.

My fiance' and I just got back from Lake Erie and we stayed at the Lighthouse Inn.It was nice clean and quiet and great prices for rooms.My only disappointment was no pool like their website says.But didnt mind cause of the lake.We plan on going back very soon.

Good location and the rooms were very clean. Only two mild complaints. The parking lot of this little Row Motel was in poor condition and very dark towards the end and the wall heater/cooler was impossible to regulate. There were instructions on the wall next to it telling you how to regulate heat, but I think the thermostat on the unit was faulty so the room would get too hot. This is a nice place to stay If you're on a budget. There was even a microwave and fridge in the room. The coffee pot had some coffee/water in it from the previous guests.

Staying at The Lighthouse Inn was a nice experience. No complaints at all. Everything worked and was clean. Price was great.

Great hotel....clean rooms...convenient location...friendly and timely service...we will be back next year....restaurant offered great food at a good price...waitresses were friendly and efficient...overall pleasant experience....

Great place to stay! Everyone was wonderful at the motel and the restaurant. Room was very nice and always cleaned good every day when we got back from Presque Isle Beach. The AC seemed to be working pretty hard but it did work. And when you stay there, you have to go to the restaurant for breakfast! It can't be beat! We will definitely go back, what a wonderful place!

Our stay at the Light House Inn in early August 2007 was very pleasant. The room was clean, equipped with wireless internet, a microwave, and a refrigerator. The staff was help and friendly. The Restaurant service a wonderful breakfast and the table service was great. Our children, ages 6 and 9, enjoyed the hotel. If you are planning a trip focused on the sate park, you are about twenty minutes away, down town is much closer. Bottom line, we would stay here again. We thought it was a good value.

My wife, dogs and I were very pleased with our stay. The Lighthouse Inn was a quaint little inn that was very clean. We had a great internet connection and a place to walk the dogs. We enjoyed breakfast in their resturant and then we were on our way.
