You really need a reservation when walking into this place even. The place was completely empty, but when we walked in we were told We were not excpecting you . The service was horible. The waiter was nice, but has no training in working with the public. The menus were on clipboards! The waitor could not make any reservations on what was on the menu. All he said was Everything is edible . When I asked if you could get fries instead of chips with my meal he replied I wouldn t recommend it! . Something about they do not have a fryer and they would have to cook them in the oven and it takes long. When we ordered our drinks he brought us cans of pop and a glass of ice. The best part of our experience at this place was how much we laughed at it. The food was ok and the dessert was fabulous. We got a pc of cheesecase to split that was fabulous!
The food is excellent. BUT the service is HORRIBLE. There was only 6 tables in the entire restaurant side. It took over 15 minutes for us to even get drinks.. which was not from our waitress, the manager/bartender saw we were still sitting there and finally asked , then another 20 minutes before our waitress stopped by to get our order (no apology) we have now been there 35 mintues while the waitress ran past us at lest 25 times and she NEVER even aknowledged us... another 30 minutes for soup... after we finished soup we waited 45 minutes for for the main entree... and our server never asked to refill our drinks, we went to bar to get our drinks, someone from kitchen served the entrees. Ther server ran around like a crazy person. The manager/bartender stood in bar area and drank coffee. There was an older gentleman who stood near our table and talked to other guests telling them all about buying into the place. WELL if he was the owner and saw this poor girl needing help I would have thought he would of at the lest asked his manager/bartender to do something. I was less than happy and they knew it. They took off two bar drinks in the end and said sorry you had to wait . we seriously was there an hour and 45 minutes before our entree came to the table. When we paid our bill it took the waitress 20 minutes to return with our change and by then there was only 3 tables. We over heard the table next us also complaining about the service and asking when they would get their salads. Like I said food was great, BUT not worth the service... Yes they do make it clear it is not a place if your in a hurry and we were not in a hurry BUT seriously we was there an hour and still had no food on our table, our mistake we should have left.
Very poor service. Only four other guests in the entire restaurant, and we still waited for a very LONG time to get our sandwiches, and then even LONGER to get our dessert. During this time, the chef kept going outside to look at something in the parking lot, and our server was standing around chatting with people in the bar. The food was good, but the service was not. They were also out of items on the menu. I would not go back to this restaurant. If they can't handle good service for a grand total of 8 people in the restaurant during a 2+hr time period on a wednesday night, then I can't imagine what the service is like on a busy night.
This was indeed a very strange experience, but the food was wonderful! When we arrived the hostess asked if we were prepared for a very long wait, and if not we might want to consider leaving. We weren't in a hurry and chose to stay. Restaurant employees ALL moved/walked very slow and lacked any enthusiasm. Restaurtant owner/chef argued with the only waitress and the waitress said she was leaving and would like her check. Hostess came back and asked what our order was and continued servicing the SMALL amount of guests. Food was good.
We had a very unpleasant experience at this restaurant. After finding a foreign object in his salad, my brother asked to speak to the manager. A woman came out and said she had made the salad and she was sure it was fine. When we showed her the object, she became indignant. Then the owner came out and he said it didn't come from his kitchen and we could just leave if we didn't like it. He never apologized; never asked to see the object; never even expressed surprise. The whole experience was surreal. We'll never go back.
