BUGS everywhere! I took my family out for dinner & thought we would try it as there is a large sign out front stating new kitchen, new menu so we decided to give it a try again. Huge Mistake! The moment we walk in, the smell of stale beer is overwhelming. Next the two men at the door look at you like they have no idea why you are there. Then the BUGS (fruit flies),so we tell the waitress and she acts like its part of the experience. We tried to tough it out but couldn t do it. I walked over to the kitchen and asked the waitress to box our food to go within minutes of her bringing it to us. She brought the containers and gave a non chalant apology for bugs and she didn t even have the check ready! We boxed the food and I sent my family out while I waited to pay, the bugs were that bad. She brought the check I handed her my card and she then stopped off to wait on someone else before she cashed me out. She didn t even discount the meal for the inconvenience. I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN AS LONG AS I LIVE!

the owner is a prick and will kick you out if you are young and dont have i.d even if you are not buying or drinking alc, their food sucks too at least the burgers do and the bathrooms are dirty.

The Coney has really turned it around. Great drink specials every night of the week. I personally think they have the best bugers and wings for miles around. They can get a little busy on wing night and st. pattys day so service may be a little slow but that can be expected with any restaurant that has a waiting line for open tables. Overall I give it a 93% for fun, food , and service for a independant family restaurant and bar.

The building itself is fantastic. Soo many places to go, so many bars. The bartenders are pretty good with service times and are pretty polite. The bouncers (like most bouncers) are looking for a dispute. Even going as far to follow a buddy of mine to the bathroom just to star an argument. I was once accused of bringing my own alcohol and putting it into a picture of soda. I explained that as the DD that would just be silly, the bouncer then took a drink of my soda to verify. Seriously he drank my soda. Still the best bar in town.

We ,My wife and I went to Coney tonight, St. Patricks Day March 17 th for dinner.As we have done for several years,Well I have to say this time ,WE WERE AND STILL ARE DISGUSTED..First we waited for over 15 minutes to get seated . The watitress was slow getting to our table. What it seemed like they were all hung over from partying the night before and was not wanting to work the next day!.We were the first couple to be seated in the main bar area no one was in there when we got there at 5 minutes to 5 pm . She took our order when we sat down and it took over 35 minutes to get our food to the table .Five other couples got waited on ,recieved their drinks ,got trinkets and hats way before we even got our food. We even had to ask our watress for a necklace and hat ,she had to hunt them down so we could have something....as if we were not good enough to get the stuff offered to us when we were given our food order? Well the portion sise of the corned beef and cabbage diner we got......Needless to say was a work in progress; two potatoes the size of golf balls cut in half. 1/2 a carot , no cellery 1/4 a head of cabbage the size of a small softball and 3 thin slices of corned beef that was dried out for $8.99...It was NOT AT ALL Worth it!!!.....If this is the example of the way they treat home town people. I would NOT recomend them to anybody for any occasion or festivities..... Save your money!!!!!Get a ruben from Arby's , or a fish sandwich from Mc donald's It will be better service and quality of food than we got tonight!!!!!A BIG LOUSEY DISGUSTING MESS , THIS IS A QUOTE FROM A PERSON THAT IS A FULL BLOODED IRISH GENTLEMAN AND LASS THIS PLACE IS NOT WORTHY TO BE CALLED A IRISH STYLE PUP? OR ENEN A TRADITIONAL DINNER? I threw out more food scraps off of my table than they seved us for the meal!.......

Long time resident and over the years patronized this establishment. It has not performed to our expectations, example. Dinner flat ware not as clean as need be. Dinner was absent our salad, waitress said she would bring it, but after 10 minutes and our dinner nearly eaten, she stops by to see how our dinners were, and had not remembered our salad. Well its a little late by now. No second cup coffee, seems typical when training waitresses in this college town is futile as there coming and going is all to fast.

My husband and I and a visiting relative went there for a nice dinner and we got everything but that. We ordered an appetizer 1st of potato skins and they were ok, but we requested sour cream and the waitress dropped them off and said she forgot the sour cream and she;d be right back. Well 10 mins. later we were still waiting so when we saw another waitress and flagged her down and she got it for us to the tune of cold potato skins, well when our waitress finally did recognize us she said she was busy and forgot and she was new. Well how about the train the waitresses or give them a memory test. Then our food finally came and again there were condiments missing and by this time my hubby knew that this wasn;t going to be pretty. So after all of that and the lack of care and returns for checking if everything was ok and refills on drinks, I will never ever go there again and I would advise anybody thinking of going in there to keep walking down the street or even across the street to a few other wonderful establishments that are great and care about their customers.
