Their food is fabulous! Seriously. They have down home, home made, menu selections. Everytime my daughter and I go I order my favorite...deep fried catfish, greens, apples, mac and cheese, corn bread and biscuits and home made preserves. Try it, the lines are NOT long and they serve well.
If you love ountry cooking & nostalgia, you'll love Cracker Barrel. The food is very country such as turnip greens, pinto beans, etc. But there is also old favorites such as pot roast, beef stew, fried fish and of course chicken. Prices are about average. It is difficult to eat a meal & still have room for dessert. Then there are all those nostagia items to buy! I can't stay away rom the place!!!
