Roland and Cheryl Finelli are the owners and chefs at Roland's Trattoria. They take pride in their original recipes for all of the items on the menu, and choose only the best quality ingredients. Each day they choose a few creative recipes to offer as specials which can't be found on the menu. After years of experimenting prior to opening the trattoria, Roland eventually perfected his bread and marinara sauce recipe which he shares with his customers every day. After years of serving oversized portions to the family at home, Roland now serves his customers oversized portions along with take home containers. jennifer and Vincent have been a part of the family business since the restaurant opened. The family continues to grow, and in 2009 Brant was welcomed to the family
FINALLY ATE AT RESTURANT AFTER HEARING ABOUT IT FOR YEARS. TRAVEL THRU LITTLE WASHINGTON APPROX TWICE A MONTH. SERVICE WAS FINE AND APPETIZER OF TUNA WAS TERRIFIC, BREAD TASTED HOMEMADE AND SERVED HOT.. MAIN COURSES WERE ADEQUATE IN SIZE BUT NOT VERY TASTY. OSSO BUCCO WAS BLAND, RED SAUCE WAS WATERY, AND VEAL ROMMANO WAS LIKE AN OMLETTE, NOT DIPPED IN EGG, BUT COOKED LIKE A VEAL OMLETTE.

We dined at Roland's this past Friday and Saturday.
Saturday we had a large group of people and the service couldn't have been better. The best thing, the food was outstanding both nights.
The staff was very friendly and we will be back for sure. Hopefully soon!
My family has eaten there many times the food is wonderful every time. Time is the only thing make sure you go their with some and enjoy the food drinks all are hand made there by the owner and his family.
My family and I have all enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and care Rolands has added to out dinner time lives. I have brought friends from out of town there and noone has ever been disappointed. Bring a hunger and still take home half a meal for lovely leftovers as I have never seen anyone finish all they feed you!

Love the place, all food freshly prepared and home cooked. Owner and wife does all cooking and are very paticular about food served. Family owned and run business. Best value in area for food quailty and taste. Food cooked to order. Have eaten there a number of times no gripes, food has always been great. When Busy there could be a wait because of the special care they take in cooking every meal for your satisisfaction. Rember good things are worth waiting for. Cheryl (owners wife) makes all the desserts pies cakes italian cream pies, terramisu, fruit pies. where does she get the time.
