Since 1949, Del's Bar & Ristorante DelPizzo has been serving lunch and dinner to Pittsburghers. The patrons always request Del's Gourmet Pizza, but the menu also features steaks, chicken, veal, pasta and seafood. Wednesday nights are buffet night, and karaoke is often the evening's entertainment. The restaurant's banquet facilities can host up to 100 people. See website for menus and coupons.
My husband, 7 yr. old, 4 yr. old, 1 yr. old & I just had dinner here. The staff was exceptionally nice & attentive. Everyone at the table loved their food. My kids are picky eaters and loved making their own pizzas at the table. The portions in the adult meals were huge. My husband had lasagna and I had chicken parm, we loved both dishes! All of the owners walked over to our table and personally talked with us. We couldn t have had a better experience! Thanks!
Del's is by far the worst place in bloomfield, maybe even in pittsburgh for italian food. The portion size is hearty, but that only matters if you prefer quantity over quality. Which is exactly what you get at Del's. Large quantities of sub par food. The wait staff is good but seem obviously held back by the obnoxiously loud, rude, vulgar and meal interupting shouts from the owner of the establishment, who I later found out was named Marianne. Apparently, when her parents owned the establishment, it was a different atmosphere. But now, it is simply a very loud place with dirty plates and mcdonalds quality food. I will never return.
Del's is the Denny's of Italian food. It's nothing special. The owners are crazy and can be heard yelling during your dining experience. The food is frozen then reheated making it far from fresh. I would never go back.
Del's has some of the best pizza ive ever had. Pasta is nothing extraordinary but good for the $. Recommend it for a casual dining spot for any eating out affair. Friendly enough for friends, but nice enough for a date. Family restaurants are always better than chains!!!
