Consistently good and a cut above other Japanese restaurants. Unique selections, especially the maki are superb. A restaurant to go back to again and again.

Wonderfully authentic sushi restaurant using the freshest available ingredients expertly prepared. A little on the pricey side but "cheap sushi" doesn't sound appetizing whatsoever. Well worth it!

That's funny, Bloom ! You must be used to cheep foods! You don't know Japanese food and Japanese culture. You better study before you write your reviews! I went to Kiku and the food was good. Looks like a really traditional Japanese sushi restaurant and I could be relaxed. That really tasted like downtown Tokyo. Reminded me of downtown Tokyo (I was born in Tokyo and I grew up in Tokyo and my Dad is a Japanese food chef, too). So that's real sushi, Edo style, if people don't understand that, I am so sad. Sushi is supposed to be luxorious and appeal to your sense of art. I would like to say Kiku is the best restaurant in Pittsburgh, if people don't understand that it's not my problem.

I hated it when I walked in I did not imgaine it would look so bad. The chairs we sat in where wobbly and tables looked horrible. Our waiter was very well knowledgeable about japanese food the food was horrible. I will never return their again.

This really is the best sushi in Pittsburgh. The waits-taff is usually great. If you are a sushi lover, try it out.

This place is beautiful, what else can I say? The atmosphere is a purist's dream, the only real westernized features to the restaurant are the tables and chairs, and the bar. They serve by far the best sushi I have ever had, extremely quality dining, even if the prices are a little high.
