Gaetano's Restaurant, Pittsburgh

I just attended a bridal shower at Gaetano s and had to write a review. It was one of the nicest events that I had ever been to. The room was nice and spacious and tastefully decorated. The food was excellent. Most banquet foods at hotels and banquet halls are very bland and not served warm enough. The food at Gaetano s was excellent. The buffet looked nice and tasted even better. The chicken florentine was great, it was hot and flavorful, and the spinach mixture was delicious. Pasta with vodka sauce was delicious. Every body at my table was looking for the green bean recipe, they were delicious. Tossed salad and fruit were fresh and really good. Mimosas were a nice touch to the event also. The thing that was most surprising was that the banquet coordinator ( who I found out was the owner) was in sight at all times making sure that everyhting was tended to. The servers were fabulous too. Michael refilled our water and coffee atleast ten times and I am not exagerating. We were a group of chatty women and he tended to our every need. Truely it was nicer than most weddings that I have been to at hotels. I would recommend to everyone to try Gaetano s for your next event. They really did a great job and made a typical boring shower a wonderful afternoon.

I went to the Murder Mystery last week and it was Fabulous! The food was especially good. Baked scrod was sooooooooooo good. Everyone at my table was raving about it. The pasta was al dente and hot. Chicken dish with spinach was a pleasant surprise. I don;t usually like spinach but it was really good. The show was funny. We sat with people we did not know and that was kind of cool and fun. The actors were really in to it. Had a few drinks and the bar prices were reasonable. It was an all around good evening. The cost is very good for the full dinner. I checked out the banquet room downstairs while I was there, I saw a wedding going on. The room was beautiful with a big tile dance floor in the center.

I recently attended the murder mystery at Gaetano's and it was great. The show was hysterical and the actors were very funny and entertaining. I brought my family and it was a fun night out. The food was delicious (especially the chicken and green beans). Nice seating so you can see the show. The price was great, dinner, dessert and a show only $27.50. It was a fun evening out, we will definitely go again.
