I dont know, maybe we just came at a bad time or the waitress was having a bad day. We were seated right away and that was the end of our pleasant experience. It took 20 minutes for our drinks, not specialty drinks, just water and iced tea all around. It took another 15 20 minutes for her to take our order, and so on and so forth. 2 hours and 10 minutes later we were walking out the door and never coming back! My salad was completely soggy. My pasta was drying out around the sides. So we knew our meals were ready, but not at our table. I have never been so irritated at a restaurant in my life.

If you want good food and terrific atmosphere this is your place. This Atria's is located on the outside of PNC Park baseball stadium in downtown Pittsburgh. There is a wide variety of food & drinks and evert dish is outstanding. There is limited on street parking and a parking garage about a block away. There is live music on both Wednesday & Thursday nights with no cover charge. The staff is friendly and aim to please. They truly make you feel welcome. There are 2 dining rooms plus a balcony. The one dining room with the bar is called "The Johnny Angel Lounge" named after one of the owners who is a nationally know musician. It has a very musical theme with guitars, sport jackets and other memorabilia from music groups from the fifties to today. During the better weather months there is outdoor dining, but wherever you choose to sit the food and service is first rate. Prices are normal to slightly high, but still quite fair. You'll love this place!

Excellent food, atmosphere and service.
By Paul, 8/3/06
I have been to the original Atrias in Mt Lebanon and loved it. Now I live in the Robinson Township area and am frequenting the Atrias outside the Robinson Plaza off the 22/30 exit across from Eat and Park. I found the food and everything in the Robinson location to be equal and maybe a step up as the building is a bit more roomy and I loved the atmosphere, very homey, with a taste of "artsy" A very pleasing atmosphere for a meal. I highly recommend dining there and strongly recommend using one of there party rooms for a group of people for a luncheon or otherwise. The best of service, outstanding service. A smile with every request. We had at least 2 attendants for our party of 10, with one always in the room, filling water, removing plates and about anything else you needed for a pleasant dining experience. Please note, the prices our unbelieveably cheap for the restaurant. Fabulous sandwiches (with sides) for 8 to $9. and meals under $11 and up. A bargain.

Just OK
By Dennis B, 6/21/06
I have visited the Mt Lebanon location on several occasions and the PNC Park location numerous times. I find the lebo location is more consistant with the quality of food. However, the place is rather cramped. We had a hour and fifteen minute wait. The food has always been pretty good. The PNC park location I have visited in the afternnon numerous times for lunch. I have since ceased returning to the establishment. The staff had been unattentive, the food quality much less than the Mt. Lebanon location, and the prep time was longer than the Mt Lebanon location, even though there were obviously less people eating there. I would recomend if your going to go to avoid the PNC locaton.

Good food
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/10/05
The portions tend to be a bit small but the food is good. The crab bisque soup is awesome. Sometimes the service can be slow as it gets crowded at lunch. PROS: Good food CONS: sometimes slow, a bit pricey

Oktoberfest
By Shawn, 9/26/05
The seasonal specials were definately different. I love to try new things and Atrias was the perfect place to try it this weekend. My girlfriend hasn't stopped talking the steak salad, and I must say it was one of the tastiest steaks and salads I can remember.

Good food, Now with several locations
By Bob, 9/19/05
Octoberfest specials are really excellent if you are looking for something different for the fall. Octoberfest specials include a free beer and hot pretzel. General fare is a little limited, but what they do serve is top notch. Atmosphere is nice and service was very good each time we visited. A little pricy, but not too bad. Steak salad was esp good.

Great bar at PNC Park
By South Loop, 9/5/05
The bartender was very friendly, which is fairly opposite to the people of Pittsburg, at least the service people...bus drivers and taxi drivers. Anyway, good selction of beer at fair prices, $3 for a few of the drafts. It took 5 bars, but we finally found one that would make a Pina Colada around the ball park.
