Went to the restaurant at this Ramada Inn for Easter Brunch. Had a 12:30 reservation. At 12:55 finally checked to see when we would be seated and we (party of 5) were told we had to wait another 20 to 30 minutes to be seated. When we got seated (just moments after I questioned what was going on) I asked why I bothered to make a reservation and why things were so confused, as the lobby was FULL of people waiting to be seated, the maitre d' actually got into an unpleasant verbal confrontation with me. Never in my life did I experience that kind of treatment.
When we finally sat down, the poor waiters and waitresses were running all over and actually unable to take care of everything. I felt very sorry for them.
Food was good, not exceptional, just good.
Went here one other time for Mother's Day about 4 yrs. ago and they actually ran out of food, and dinnerware to eat off of. They claimed the dishwasher broke down then.
This is the last time I will go there. They seem to overbook and then don't know what to do with all the people.
A number of rooms in the front of the hotel were under renovation, so our room was in the back, a long walk to the front desk, restaurant and pool.
The pool, hot tub and sauna were all very nice. Our room was very average, but acceptably clean and modern. There was no mini-fridge, microwave or continental breakfact which some hotels offer. The location was convenient to town and colleges.
