Not in the upper echelon of restaurants and ive lived in bath all my life. Its unclean to be honest and the menu itself is straight out of a home kitchen with subpar quality and food presentation needs work, at least the coffee was ok,
Went to this lovely family style diner while on business in the area. After reading the other reviews we were looking for kristy or waketa but unfortunately they weren t working the dinner shift. Instead we had the pleasure of having Danielle ( sorry if I spelled it wrong)! She recommended the roast beef hot sandwich which my co worker thought was delicious. The taco salad and. Cheeseburger were also good. The deserts of snicker pie, chocolate pie were tasty but the portions were too small too share. Danielle was terrific and entertaining. She ll even smell your drink to make sure which one is root beer vs Dr pepper. Thanks for a great dinner!
I haven't eat there a lot, but their Friday night Fish Fry is awesome. Most places serve two sides with their fish dinner, but Stephanie's also serves soup with theirs. The fish is light and crunchy and the NE clam chowder is MMMMMMMMM. The price is ultimately competative with all other restaurants.
Food is almost always good and most decently priced, they have a really great breakfast cook, if you get breakfast and are lucky enough to catch Heather, you won't be disappointed with your order. I have no idea what the last reviewer was talking about, but I haven't had a problem with any waitress at Stephanie's. They are always very nice and courteous, especially Kristy and Waketa, and I'm the type of person that always ends up needing something after the food has been brought out. If you like small diner/restaurants, I definitely recommend them.
This place reminded me of a place right out of the 1970's and probably hasn't been cleaned since then either. Food was barely edible. Tuna was dark meat and very strong tasting. Staff was very friendly and courteous and the local patrons are loyal. But, I will not return, just was too unclean for my comfort.
