Torrey Park Grill has good food & decent service. In my opinion, the prices are a little higher than I'd expect, but still overall a good place to eat.
reservation for a party of 12 on a sunday evening. one waitress who missed two orders. one order was brough about 10 minutes after others were served and the last order after everyone was done. when a comment was made :where are the meatballs" for the last item delivered, the waitress said very nastily she did not order them. well the item came with wither meatballs or sausage, so something was ordered. no apology for the late and missed items. should not have been charged for the final item.
have been there before. everyone liked it last time except me. this time it was agreed.. the service was not good and neither was the lasagna.
they knew they had a party of 12, they could have had extra help or at a minimum apologized for the missing meals and not charged for the last one.
We've been to Torrey Park Grill twice since they opened and were happy both times. The food was excellent each time. This last time, although we had a 7 pm reservation they were unable to seat us until 7:40. We were patient but slightly annoyed (why make a reservation if you are going to have to wait 40 minutes anyway). The hostess was apologetic and made sure that the bottle of wine we ordered was on the house. This went a long way toward reducing our annoyance. It's nice that there are businesses that still value customer service! It is definitely one of the best restaurant options in the Geneva area!!
This was the first time we've been here and have never been to Pront's so can't compare but we had a fine meal and great service in a very comfortable place. The red sauce a prior contributor complained about was good but salty and that would be our one criticism; the chef seems to know garlic and use it well, but gets carried away with the salt. That aside, the meal was still excellent. The braciola was the tenderest and tastiest ever, and the Avenue E greens spicy and unique. There was good olive oil on the table for nice crunchy italian bread.
....the worst red sauce I have ever tasted...I dont know why the owners would want to change the old Pronti favorites..ego, im sure but this is one place that I wont go back to after giving them several tries...
I'm a local and there are plenty of places to choose from, but I keep going back to Torrey Park Grill! Never disappointed-the food is great and the menu has just the right variety. Always delicious and the staff are wonderful.
I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere in Pronti's. The food was outstanding. I was served enough to bring some home and have two more meals! Holy Macaroni! It's a great place for romance........just be sure not to drop the sauce on your shirt!!!
