Michael's Restaurant, Niagara Falls

This causal Italian eatery, located in the heart of Niagara Fall's "Little Italy", is a favorite of locals. Opened in 1960 by Michael Capizzi, whose family came from Italy, the restaurant is very popular; at lunchtime you may have to wait for a table. Pasta, ravioli and rigatoni are mainstays, but they also have American dishes, like steak and chicken. Other menu selections include pizza, hot and cold sandwiches, wings and fingers. They are known for their calzones, a deep fried turnover stuffed with ricotta, mozzarella and your choice of additions, like pepperoni.
