This four-star restaurant on the Niagara Escarpment, voted one of the Top Ten Most Romantic Restaurants, is noted for their excellent food as well as the spectacular view. Originally opened as a more casual establishment in 1934 by the Schimschack family, it was frequented by Marilyn Monroe and Joe DiMaggio during the filming of "Niagara" in 1952. One of the house specialties is barbecued baby back ribs. Desserts include bananas Foster, a flaming dessert served tableside. - Christine A. Smyczynski
This place is very good. I recommend going on Friday before 6:00pm and you get prime rib +soup +salad +desert +coffee for less than $14 per person. THIS IS the best deal in WNY in my opinion.
A few times a year I leave work early on Friday to get there on time. It's worth driving all the way to Sanborn!
Everything was horrible from the hostess to the waiter to the food. I took sister and my girlfriend the bill was 120.00 not a big deal. But we waited well over an hour for the food. The hostess was rude. I cant explain enough in this review how bad it was. My friend warned me and I didnt listen, should of. It was so bad that my sister wrote a letter, which we have never done that before. In the letter in return they talked very very unprofessional. Save your money.
